Beyond excited for the Budweiser Made in America music festival!! I bought my ticket the minute I saw that Beyoncé would be performing. After my frenzied purchase was complete, I realized that I should check out the other artists. It is a two day festival after all…
The lineup is awesome with The Weeknd headlining alongside Queen B. Nick Jonas, Big Sean, and J. Cole also have me super hyped. Other artists include Axwell & Ingrosso, Modest Mouse, Death Cab for Cutie, Bassnectar, Duke Dumont, Santigold, Banks, A-Trak, Meek Mill, Earl Sweatshirt, Metric, De La Soul, DJ Mustard, G-Eazy, Claude VonStroke, Future, GTA, Action Bronson, Earl Sweatshirt, Vic Mensa, Fabolous, Jacob Plant, Halsey, Gryffn, Saint Motel, Young Rising Sons, Strand of Oaks, Remy Banks, Mick Jenkins, Marian Hill, Omen, Waxahatchee, Post Malone, Bas, Cozz, Mayaeni, Grits & Biscuits, Lola Wolf, The Struts, Flatbush Zombies, Creepoid, Hop Along, and Superheaven.
At first glance, I can’t say I recognized all the names. Planner that I am, these artists have been blasting through my speakers pretty much 24/7. Just trying to know what’s up! My poor roommate will definitely be happy when she is no longer subjected to R&B at all hours of the day.
Below are a few of my favorites so far. Check them out and start practicing your best dance moves for September 5th and 6th!
Looking for more? Head over to Spotify and search Made in America 2015 for some great playlists. Tickets are still on sale for the event via Ticketmaster. The homepage of the festival is pretty sick too – I’d recommend checking it out.
